Kids participating in Robotics competitions like VEX IQ , FLL competitions will meet weekly on game strategy, creating their design notebooks, building and modifying robots, programming skills.

Teams get a chance to hone robotics skills and compete with other teams.  Test their robot out and gain practice in competition.

This Robotics Camp for our younger students is based entirely on the LEGO Boost platform. During these 2-hour classes, participants will build and code a different LEGO robot from the Boost set each day, completing a total of 5 different projects throughout the week. Kids work in teams of 2 to 3 students, enhancing cooperation and team working skills, as they work together to solve problems and divide sub-tasks among each other with guidance from us. The teams use tablets to program the robots through LEGO's own visual coding application. Our Robotics Camp is especially recommended to students interested in the world of technology but have never learned how to code before. 

Simply put, model rocketry is a blast! There are so many interesting rocketry kits to build, and so little time! Kids spend a week building and launching two model rockets from kits and learn additional building skills and tricks of the trade. Kits will range in skill level (1–3) and style (e.g.: helicopter return, egg lofter, etc.), to provide an assortment of fun! Design, engineering skills, math skills, physics, and so much more comes into play here. Finally we will launch the rockets from a local rocket launching space!

The micro:bit has 25 red LEDs, two programmable buttons, a built-in compass, motion detector, Bluetooth technology, and five Input and Output (I/O) rings. Make it blink. Make it a musical instrument. Make a game. You can do it with a Micro:bit, and all through coding! Kids will become familiar with programming concepts and electronics components, while building practical, hands-on electronics projects using the micro:bit. Some of the planned projects include: making a fidget cube and a pedometer, burglar alarm. This class is great for students that want to learn to program their own mini-computer, using the best new tech on the market.​ We have a few microbits that you can use or bring your own, or use ours!

The Lego Education WeDo 2.0 camp. Kids will learn to build different robot, write programs and complete simpler task that require different sensors include light, ultra-sonic, touch and color sensors.  The Lego Education WeDo 2.0 camp promotes investigation, experimentation, develops computing skills, and incorporates activities across science, engineering, and technology. Students will learn to build different robot, write programs and complete simpler task that require different sensors include light, ultra-sonic, touch and color sensors. We will drop off the kit at your home few days ahead of the camp. Let us know if you need a laptop, or you can use your own. Will share instructions on software ahead on the Zoom/Teams. No experience is required.

 Art Camps for children and teens ages 5 – 15 take place online via Zoom and are designed to stimulate creative expression through projects and activities that change each month. Children develop important artistic techniques and learn about the principles of visual art, historical periods and well-known artists. Projects and themes vary monthly. Curriculum tailored to individual age groups. All art supplies provided.

Camp is designed to encourage and build: fun, teamwork, curiosity, critical thinking, courage, and creativity. It’s time to take off and build STEM skills that will build the foundation for many years to come – join us! No prior experience necessary. All skill levels are welcome.
